Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I have found a module from the SourceCoast.com called the JFBConenct, I am interested in the feature they provide which is the Facebook Request which allows the users to invite their Facebook friends to my website. However, I am finding it impossible to configure their module and plugins. I asked the SourceCoast support team to help me resolve it. They told me the error is occurring due to the clashing of two libraries together in which one is from Jomsocial. I have attached their response with this post as I do not understand what they want me to do by saying "Make another page by disabling the Jomsocial" Library. Can you look into the issue and help as I am not an expert on Jomsocial either.
Thank you for contacting us.
There is a special setting in Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Integrations -> Use SourceCoast's JFBC -> YES (I enabled it). It disables loading our library and loads the one from JFBC :)
Please, try now.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
