The JS Members Search module gives the message "You do not have permission to view this resource. Please contact the Site Administrator." when the website is in public view mode (i.e. when no one is logged in). I have made the module access for Public still it doesn't work. Can you please fix this issue?

Hi,

please goto jomsocial backend > configuration > site and set Allow Guests to Perform Advanced Search

FYI:
please upgrade your jomsocial to latest version 4.2.4 and joomla 3.6.2
many bug fixes there
