Hi,

I just realized you site still using 4.2.2 please upgrade it to jomsocial 4.2.4
google map had new policy, every site must using google map API.
at jomscoial 4.2.4, you can put google map API at jomsocial backend > configuration > integration

you can create the API at here:
console.developers.google.com

Hi,

please do not make any changes at jomsocial core files.
if you want make a changes for language. you can do it from joomla backend > extensions > langauges > overrides.

with this joomla way, the changes will not disappear at upgrade process.

Hi, i got the same issue... My members map isn't showing also... I got this message "Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details." I already follow your instruction regarding to replace the helper.php but still it didn't work.

I got the latest version of jomsocial and i put the google API key into the integration configuration of jomsocial. I also got the Joomla v.3.6.4... Hope you can help me with this issue..

Thanks,
Glen
