ISSUE SUMMARY:

Hi,

I just have a few little bugs with languages. The jomsocial french language files have been installed correctly and despite a couple of minor modifications all has gone smoothly.

These are View all photos (Voir toutes les photos) for the JS Photos, View all groups for the JS Groups and View all members for the JS Members module.

I can't seem to locate the strings relevant to the modules. They don't seem to appear with in either admin/language or language files, nor does a substitution via joomla/languages help.

Thanks in advance for any directions here :)

kindly,

Luke

Hi, Luke.

Try this:

COM_COMMUNITY_FRONTPAGE_VIEW_ALL_PHOTOS = View all photos
COM_COMMUNITY_GROUPS_VIEW_ALL = View all groups
MOD_COMMUNITY_MEMBERS_VIEW_ALL = View all members

You may use Joomla! language override to change those texts: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Changin...gle_Sentence_or_Word

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal

Thankyou for your reply. The substitutions worked for the Members and Groups modules but not for the photos modules. The string for the photos is for a frontpage usage? In my case this is not visible on a frontpage --> It is indeed JS Photos but placed on js_side_top_stacked mod position. I am not sure if this changes things.

Thanks,

Luke

HI, Luke.

It's doesn't matter where module is displayed.
Check this file: ROOT/modules/mod_community_photos/tmpl/default.php
You'll find that constant used in line 34.

Hi Michal,

Sorry but I have ROOT/modules/mod_community_photos/tmpl/albums.php or photos.php

That said the latter file did provide the solution!

if anyone else has this issue the constant is actually MOD_COMMUNITY_PHOTOS_ALL_PHOTOS

thanks!

Luke
