How can Members add Files and Audios?

ISSUE SUMMARY:
My members need to upload Audios and general Files (PDF etc). How can I provide it in an easy way ?

Hi, Henning.

Files may be uploaded in Group discussions and announcements.
Create a group and make sure that you set Enable file sharing for discussions:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Enabling_Groups
Then in such a group create new discussion and also allow to share files in it.
Then new discussion will appear with upload box at left.
Also there list of uploaded files will be displayed.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Thanks Micha,
however, this is way to complicated. Users should be able to use a button like for videos and photos... What can I do?

I'm sorry but there is no other option to share files in JomSocial.
But you may be interested to install additional Joomla! extension that will allow your members to share files more easily:

extensions.joomla.org/tags/file-management
