As per the image, the placements I've highlighted do they have a specific module position?

IE: JS_profile_stream-1

Or could you advise the position, as I need to code in some extra features.

HI, Matthew.

No, they are not in a module positions. Those tabs are used for apps only.
But you have other module positions, please read this: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Built-in_Module_Positions

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I'm actually creating an APP for that position, so trying to work out how I need to code in the placement to show up there.

HI, Matthew.

It's called "Main content" i.imgur.com/HIG9uTj.png
The best way to develop an app is to use already existing one ^^.
