Greeting Pro,s,
When you set a member to "Featured", a small "Featured" ban appears on their picture that labels them. I am sure you know what I am referring to, and I like this a lot. However, because my sit was built for professional athletes, I would like to change just the text in that banner to "Certified". Can I do that and how? Now, if I change that, will it also change the "Featured" banner that will appear across the groups as well or will that one be unchanged?

Thanks,

David

Hi,

you can do it by using joomla language override.
please goto joomla backend > extensions > languages > click overrides button at left site, click new
put COM_COMMUNITY_FEATURED as Language Constans
put Certified as Text

save it!

Albertus,
This worked perfectly, but is it possible to have the members listed as "Certified" and the groups as "Featured"?

If not, I will just leave this as it is.

Thanks,

David

Albertus,
I am comfortable with that. I realize this will need to be done every time I upgrade, but, in the interest of my site, I think it's best if a member could have a "Certified" banner and a group could have the "Featured" banner. Please tell me how to do this if you don't mind, or if you feel more comfortable just doing it yourself, please feel free.

Thank you,

Davdi

Albertus,
Again, thank you for taking the time to look into this. While the sub-menu's are nice and I will keep them, that's not exactly what I was trying to ask you. Please allow me to ask again differently. I would like to have "Featured" Groups and "Certified" Members. I don't want the diagonal banner that appears to both be the same as they currently are. I have attached an image that somewhat shows you what I am talking about. The members that I select to be Certified members are shown with the diagonal "Certified" banner. The groups that are "Featured" will have the Featured banner. Now, my featured banner in the attached image shows the text, "Featured" horizontal. I don't want the text to be horizontal. I want it to be the way you all have it at an angle. None the less, I don't want to have both the same.
Again, if this cannot be done easily, please don't worry. I can change it all back to "Featured" and then create my own "Certification" logo to add to all the members that are "Certified" by us as authentic. Just let me know if this can easily be done please.

Thanks,

David

Albertus,
thank you for helping with this, but I will just keep them both as "Featured" and simply add a badge to the photo's of the members that I want to show as certified.

Thakns,

David
