Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I purchased and installed Geommunity 3 to get users on a google map.
If I have a new user which register with some mistakes in the street address, Geommunity will not display him in the map, as I guess it doesn't find the address.
But the city is correct.
I would like to know if it was possible to skip the geolocalisation process for address in case Geommunity can't find the address And still display the new member in the map in his city?
Geomunity developers are right - their extension take geo data from JomSocial.
Geo data is changed to coordinates and stored in database.
If geo data are wrong or can't be changed to coordinates... database will be empty.
You may edit user profile and re-enter geo data. Then run cron job.
If location can't be displayed it means that coordinates couldn't be created...
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
