ISSUE SUMMARY: I have issue with the Components and extensions. For three hours I have tried to figure out what it is I am doing wrong, and darn if I see it. But anyways some of the mods and extensions you always can see others are hidden until they are used. But none of them are showing up except for just those that loaded right after the install. I don't get it. I even went over your tutorial for this, and still nothing.


I also know I am admin and my profile may not look like everyone else's. But when I click on my profile link I always see the "edit my profile". I have yet to see my regular everyday profile and when I made a regular user no members are visible even though there are three so I wasn't able to check using another user.

please goto joomla menu manager. and edit that related modules. please have a look at that module settings.
what position, what access, and what menu assignment?

OMG I forgot about the access. /rolls eyes. I will try this and get back to you.

I went in and checked and read the pdf that came with the download. It took me a while but I figured out that you have to allow access but you have to assign a position too. I don't know how I forgot about this being as I have messed around with Joomla for years. But I did. The other issue was I had quite a few "check ins". My page is shaping up and the only issue I can see is that the menu on the right looks like crap and I can't figure out why. I named one section toolbar because that is what it said it was. But the styling of this thing looks bad. The header "toolbar" word doesn't even have the header styling on it. I am not even sure if I want to use this because of the way it looks on the page.
