Login is failing and redirects to homepage

ISSUE SUMMARY:

Hello, i have an issue with jomsocial.

I created a user through jom social registrataion form.

User is enabled ok and when i try to log in to the system, it always fails to login and redirects me back to the homepage.



STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 GO to www.shippingunited.com/ship/index.php/el/
2 Go to the login module and try to access system with
<removed for security reason>

RESULT

User is not logged. Jomsocial shows redirection message and drives me to the homepage.

EXPECTED RESULT

The user should be logged to the system and auto-redirected to the profile page

- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, John.

Your issue is caused by misconfiguration. You've set registration form as your home page for JomSocial... this will not work. Home page should be JomSocial home page.

Also, please, read this documentation: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Complet...in_multilingual_mode

Ok will do as the documentaion says. But i will be able to have registration form in homepage?

No, registration form CAN'T be your home page.
You may use 3rd party registration module but no JS registration form.

I have another issue...

1) i can't find way to create user groups from admin area
2) i need each person that is registered to choose the group he belongs to
3) From frontent i cannot acces groups. I login with user: Dekari, pass: 12345 and clicking GROUP always show main profile page!

what's wrong???
