Jomsocial Not Allowing Connect Video Share to Use s3 Video url path

ISSUE SUMMARY: I am loading videos via HD Video Share. Connect Video Share is creating a post of those videos in the wall feed and under videos, however when clicked on for playback, nothing plays. All of my HD Video Share files and Jomsocial data is stored in my s3 bucket. So I checked the video path and noticed that it is using my website path instead of my s3 path:

usportsgo.com/index.php/jomsocial/364-su...-mp4-test-for-mobile

Here is the path Connect Video is trying to use:
usportsgo.com/images/originalvideos/364/GOPR0test.mp4

I spoke with Apptha and they replied with the following:
"As per our last reply, we have fixed the issue which you have mentioned but in the Jomsocial they are appended the base URL in the source tag so that the videos are not playing properly so that the issue is not due to our HD Video Share.

Kindly check and let us know if you have any further clarifications with this."

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Load video via HD Video Share
2 Try playback in the community
3
4
5
RESULT: No playback
EXPECTED RESULT: Playback
BROWSER: Safari and Firefox

Hi, Brandon.

So;

- you upload video in 3rd party extension
- 3rd party extension create post in JomSocial
- and video in post created by 3rd party extension won't play
.... and JomSocial is to blame... that's interesting thesis. We'll I assign developer to this thread to review this issue.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi,

the issue from that 3rd party extension.
my suggestion, please using jomsocial video upload. and make sure your server having FFMPEG installed, and using latest version.
ffmpeg.org
