Hello...

I am interested in changing the verbage in language file. Primarily in the App descriptions available to customize your profile. However, I cannot seem to find the language file needed to accomplish this.

You can edit it on the plugin translation, its located inside /administrator/languages/en-GB/en-GB.plg_PLUGIN_NAME.ini
