Trouble redirecting to the refferer page after login

ISSUE SUMMARY:

I have certain pages that require users to be logged in Joomla! to be viewed. When users click on those links a login box appears. Once logged-in, I want them to redirect back to the page they were trying to visit in the first place. Please suggest me how to set up this functionality.

Hi, Alex.

Enable and configure JomSocial redirect plugin.
There is an option "Back to previous page" check it in.
Remember to configure redirection to pages below so user will be redirected to proper pages after certain action.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Yeah i know that thanks, but the issue is when my users click on a link from an email it takes them to the login page which is a redirect already, then when they log in it oads the login page. becasue it thingks that the previous page is the login page.

i have enabled previous load just if that wasn't clear

There is no step back if you entered login page via email.
Step back is login page.
