Hi,
Is there a module/plugin that allow user to send message to be contacted buy other user that can be used in module position?

I mean, I use a third party for user listings and I would like to have allow users to ask questions to the listing owner and would like the message to go through the jomSocial messaging system. The reason being the message notification and alert and also to keep it all in one single spot.

So,
1 - Is there a module or plugin for jomSocial that would allow me to do that? either packaged with jomsocial or listed in the addons section.

2 - if not, is there a way of integrating jomSocial message system with third party applications? Is there any documentation/guide on doing that?

Thanks

Hi Sarah,

I never heard the simliar module like this before, I suggest you hire the 3rd party developer to achive this.

thank you!

Hi Dimas,
Is there any documentation on integrating jomSocial message system with third party application?

This might be something I could do, but before starting butchering the application it would be good if there is a bit of direction from you guys, the developers of jomSocial.

Thanks.

Hi Sarah,

We dont have API for messaging, but you can do it via plugin.. please check the documentation from here documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Developers_Documentation

thank you!
