Showing a registration guide

ISSUE SUMMARY: We are upgrading a site that has worked for us for 3 years (Joomla 2.5.28) and old JomSocial from 2012. Now we are moving to Jomsocial 4.0.9 and Joomla 3.4.4

We used Payplans and Jomsocial to register all users. Somehow we had a registration guide showing above the Jomsocial registration pages. We cannot figure out if this was a plugin or what and don't remember coding this ourselves. Can you help figure out how this was done and if there is a registration plugin that can emulate this again.

Hi, Stan.

Progress bar is on every registration page of JomSocial: prntscr.com/8kv8qx
You may test it here: www.prolusatia.nazwa.pl/test/register.html

In your case PayPlans took over part of registration displaying PayPlans pages that don't have JomSocial progress bar... you there is no way to enable it on non-JomSocial pages.

Please, contact with PayPlans developer if you have further question regarding this.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Actually, if I take away Payplans from the registration and point a menu item to the Jomsocial registration, no registration guide bar appears so I am a bit confused where to enable that.

Hi, Stan.

But it is there:
prntscr.com/8l38zr
prntscr.com/8l39jm

As I said - it will not show up on non-JomSocial registration pages.

Michal,

I don't think you understood exactly. Yes - it is present in our old site (this was the attachment you sent), however it is not present in the new production site of our new site using the exact same registration method of the old site (Jomsocial and Payplans) In this registration, Jomsocial is used for the registration part mainly as in the other site but no registration guide. This was my question. Our new production site is currently www.ophthalmologymissions.com (I sent admin information in the first post of this thread)

Hi, Stan.

I'm sorry, you didn't mentioned that URL is different - I used the one in credential box.

On your dev site you don't have JomSocial registration: prntscr.com/8lbybs
Registration ends before any JomSocial field is displayed. payPlans took over whole registration process.
Please, contact with PayPlans developer ans ask them how to integrate PP with JomSocial properly.

Michal,

Actually I turned off the Jomsocial association with Paypal and then put a specific link directly to the Jomsocial registration so you could test it.

Please see this link: ophthalmologymissions.com/index.php/register-joms

I don't believe this is a Payplans issue - that is what I was trying to show you.

Hi, Stan.

Under that link STILL is NO JomSocial registration.
Please, enable PayPlans JomSocial integration.
Progress bar is integral part of JomSocial registration. It's not called by any plugin but it's built in in registration pages.

I have added this code to the template file, but it still hasn't added the progress bar.
Please see the image.

ok - I think I have it now.
I had to add one more line:

.innerpgbar {
background: #5677fc;
}
