our server.. in wich is installed our website.. has outgoing connection disabled....
We see that when a user edit the profile.. the system try to reach google maps... ( Dont know why)
We have in our firewall disabled that the server can connect to other servers that are not authorized...

How can we disable this connection to google maps? (we think is useless for the our website) we dont need anything for google maps

we use google map to retrieving geo location coordinate for each users, and stored it at database.
seem your server block that connection to google map. I suggest you to allow google map connection at your server.

if you want turn off it, you need to changing it at jomsocial core file. and you need to re-apply the changes every upgrade process.

There is only one IP? google doesnt has multiple IP adresses or multiple IP servers?

mostly, IP for domain always dedicated. I suggest you to asking your hosting support. why the google map always block at they server.
