Hi,
is it possible to update Google Maps?
Its only possible to choose companies but no way to locate the position where you are. If you want to announce that you are (for example) on a homeparty in this street, or when you are in a park, what ever, its not possible to submit.
Changes or updates necessary?

at jomsocial the google map location always using "address" (address ,city, state, country) from input field.

in this case do you mean for events? at event you can put location on it.

It´s not possible to to enter any address , there are only displayed Companies like supermarket or schools. When i typ a adress there is written that he don´t find this possition. Also googel maps don´t show the right position where you are now.

if google map result not correct, I cannot do anything. that because google map API need full address as input.
location precision depending with google map it self and full address is mandatory for location.

it has nothing to do with events or "unternehmen". It's purely a matter that you can not specify any address. These are not found. Only companies in the area google maps displayed. This can be chosen. There is no way to enter any address. Also bars, restaurants which do not exist in the list for selecting can not be searched.

with a screenshot , it can not be explained.
I try again:
If you want to specify the position where you are for example " firststreet 1010 Vienna" (in german) its not possible to locate it.
Its ONLY possible to choose one of the selected offers. The offers are comanys. You can´t specify any adresse which you want.

jomsocial cant do anything. that because the google map it self cant find that location.
