Hi Dimas,

just to be clear: JomSocial doesn´t show the city of the community members in the back end in it´s current version?
It has never been a feature? I´m asking because you said otherwise earlier.

I thought we take the city, but when I re-check it more detail it only country.. our Project Owner aware with this, and this feature already on our task list

Hi Dimas,

but now I´m wondering why the JoomlaForce team is convinced that Jomsocial should create those coordinates when the information is provided.
Here is the answer I got and a Pic of my back end member location map. Mind the differences between the specific location Rome, Italy (the working database example) and just Germany as a country (it should mark Berlin as city - not working database example)

address - state - city - country

Add more fields and more accurate the location.

In addition, it is possible also inserting fields: state - city - country.

I am attaching here my configuration, and working properly.

As I said the process of geolocation is done through functions of JomSocial.
HelloMaps reads only coordinates generated

You mentioned that the tab community_user doesn´t matter anymore but apparently it still matters, since working coordinates result in a working extension AND a working Jomsocial members maps in the back end (see above). So if the database problem (255/ 255) would be fixed, the problem with the back end map should be solved as well.
Is there a way to make those coordinates work properly again like those of the last listed user in the example above, even if it´s not used by Jomsocial otherwise (it still should work shouldn´t it)?

Oh yes, I was wrong and JoomlaForce is right, because you missed the google maps configuration.

But regarding the pin locaion on maps, I need wait the feedback from our developer, because that feature is still buggy.
