ISSUE SUMMARY: When uploading an avatar there is no confirmation that the image has been accepted. The page is stuck in the upload window and does not proceed to any image preview or following page. However the image is there when you manually navigate away from the upload screen.

I just test it and working fine, beside that I see the css conflict, for fixing this open this file templates/gk_university/css/joomla.css, find this code :
