I have exactly the issue described here:

Members click on "all members" and are confused, as only a couple ones are there, as online is selected as default.
Now I followed your advise in the thread above. However, the only thing that happened was, that people clicking on all members still only see the ones ONLINE, while the select field is on LATEST.

Actually I want ALPHABETICALLY selected and shown at the same time, without users having to do anything.
The rational is simple: someone clicking on ALL MEMBERS expects ALL MEMBERS and not ALL MEMBERS ONLINE.

you can changing "alphabetical" to latest. if still cant, you can provide me FTP access detail by editing your firs post at this topic. put it at site info form. I will do it for you.
