Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
ISSUE SUMMARY:
Hello,
I read in your change log that in Module and Application Improvement for 3.0.5, you said you "Improve redirect plugin and allow redirect to same page." I have JomSocial 4 installed and no where do I see the option to choose "same page" for the redirect. Not in the backend JS Configurations and not in the Redirect Plugin settings.
I also read in a forum post, dated 1 year 7 months ago, that you were going to make the improvement in the next release. Still nothing. Could you please clarify if this option is truly available and if so where and how can I find it and enable it. I prefer the option to be in the backend configurations.
Also, could you please explain what the "Redirect back to previous page" option in the JomSocial Redirect Plugin means when you select "No" or "Yes"?
Thank you.

BROWSER
System - Jomsocial Redirect allows you to redirect user to certain pages after:
- successful login
- failed login
- logout
Redirect back to previous page - it means that plugin will try to load page that directed user to login page - after successful login. E.g: you browse to user profile -> but profiles are restricted for registered users only so you are redirected to login page -> after successful login plugin tries to redirect you back to profile you tried to see.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
OK, so when I set "Redirect back to previous page" to "Yes" it appears to be the same thing as "Same Page" option. I have enabled the plugin and set it to yes and checked it on my site. It seems to work now. Thank you for the quick reply and clarification.
