Is there a way to assign modules to specific groups? I found this old thread and it is exactly what I'm trying to accomplish. The solution in there must be for an older version. I have 4.0

you can do that steps, but using this file:
copy from /components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/groups/single.php to /templates/[frontend template]/html/com_community/layouts/groups/single.php

and you can put that code under line 578, after this code

<div class="joms-module__wrapper">

This works. I've actually tried different positions within the other div classes. Thanks
