ISSUE SUMMARY:

I have changed a few html lines and added it as a template override. The problem I am running into is it loads as it should for about a half a second then reverts back to the original html. I thought maybe the override wasn't working so I even replaced the module file with the hard coded one and it still does the same thing. The frustrating thing is the actual html goes back to the original version so I am not sure where it is coming from. Cache is off and I did clear whatever cache was there as well... I also narrowed it down to NOT being related to the html changes because I uninstalled the module, reinstalled it, and only removed the li class from the original and it still reverted back to original. Is there another component file that it also calls that is preventing this from happening? The weird thing is it was working for about 15 minutes before it started reverting back to it's default html.

Current module can be found in the right position on all pages on the test site domain.com/1

Here is the code that I changed in the file:

ORIGINAL:
<li class="joms-list__item">

<div class="joms-avatar">

<a href="<?php echo CRoute::_('index.php?option=com_community&view=profile&userid='.$member->id );?>">

<img src="<?php echo $member->getThumbAvatar(); ?>"

title="<?php echo CTooltip::cAvatarTooltip($member); ?>"

alt="<?php echo CStringHelper::escape( $member->getDisplayName() ) ?>"

data-author="<?php echo $member->id; ?>">

</a>

</div>

</li>
and further down:

<a href="<?php echo CRoute::_('index.php?option=com_community&view=search&task=browse' ); ?>" class="joms-button--link">

<small>

<?php echo JText::_( 'COM_COMMUNITY_FRONTPAGE_BROWSE_ALL' ); ?>

<?php if($showTotalMembers) echo "($totalMembers)"; ?>

</small>

</a>

MODIFIED:
<li>
<a href="<?php echo CRoute::_('index.php?option=com_community&view=profile&userid='.$member->id );?>">
<img src="<?php echo $member->getAvatar(); ?>"
title="<?php echo CTooltip::cAvatarTooltip($member); ?>"
alt="<?php echo CStringHelper::escape( $member->getDisplayName() ) ?>"
data-author="<?php echo $member->id; ?>">
<div class="friend-name"><div class="mas"><?php echo CStringHelper::escape( $member->getDisplayName() ) ?></div></div>
</a>

</li>

and further down:
<div style="text-align:center;">
<a href="<?php echo CRoute::_('index.php?option=com_community&view=search&task=browse' ); ?>" class="joms-button--link view-all-button-text">
<small>
<?php echo JText::_( 'COM_COMMUNITY_FRONTPAGE_BROWSE_ALL' ); ?>
<?php if($showTotalMembers) echo "($totalMembers)"; ?>
</small>
</a>
</div>
