ISSUE SUMMARY:
it appears that some profiles are not showing the postbox to be able to write on their walls.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Login
2 Navigate to different profiles

RESULT
Activity stream postbox display is intermittent

EXPECTED RESULT
To be able to post on a friends wall

This issue caused by the privacy setting, and maybe caused by some paramater :

1. caused by this setting "Only Friends can Write on Profile." on Jomsocial configuration
2. because you access is by admin, so admin can do everything

if you dont mind can you list of profile who can and can't see postbox, please?

In the example I posted I was super admin and friends with both.

This issue caused by your 3rd party module, if you disabled them it will work fine

Do you know what the conflict was? I will work with the developers to correct.

I am not really sure the detail error, but its show this error
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function

you can ask the error by your developer directly by using firebugs or chrome dev tools
