ISSUE SUMMARY:
hello guys,
I removed all my Xius plugin in order to match with new JS4 and now i am setting up Dating Search module to replace it.
When my member register, they have to pickup their city in a Textbox.
So in my dating module, i would like to get Textbox instead of free input box in order to avoid any mistaken search.
How can i do that please?
By the way, i tried to hide FIELD GENDER( because it is only a woman network) and the box disappeared but not the title, is there any clue?
Thanks for your patience and always useful help!

Hi, Anais.
You're about to rebuild Dating Search module.
I'm sorry but any customization requests are suspended now - there are too many requests on forum.
Anyway, any customizations ware just a courtesy as we don't support customizations officially.
In this case, please, consider to hire a professional developer - this is not easy case to customize.

Hello Michal
I get your point :) You are super busy and i know that this new JS4 is a big improvement & a lot of users are opening ticket right now!
So i will stick to my Advanced Search bar--> Why i get Name & not Username filter?
Is there a way to change "Birrthday" to age in the search bar?
Thanks a lot & i am really supportive & grateful for all the job you do !
Hi, Anais.
Thank you for your kind words and understanding ;)
1. It search in what actually is considered as name at the moment. You can choose what to use as user name in Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Layout -> Display Name (Real name or Username).
2. No, It seems you can't. I checked it thinking that changing from date to age in profile field will affect advanced search but it's not.
I'm not sure if this is a bug... but I report it anyway.
Hi, Anais.
2. No it's not a bug. You can switch from date to age by clicking small text above field:

In my printscreen you see age - it's shown after you click text "Date" in the same spot.
Hello Michal
Sorry to reopen the ticket :)
is there an easy way to display some fields when the user click to advanced search.
For instance, i would like my customer to get Username/Country/Age visible and not to have to click on Add criteria :)
Thanks on advance!
Hi, Anais.
Advanced search i in a fact query builder... so no, you can't predefine criteria... at least not out-of-the-box... Skilled developer could do something like that... but it may require core hacks...
