Hi,

you can override the template file by copying
default.php
from
[joomla root]/modules/mod_hellome/tmpl/
to
[joomla root]/templates/socialize/html/mod_hellome/

edit it, and remove the coda at line 274

<li><a href="<?php echo CRoute::_('index.php?option=com_community&view=register&task=activation'); ?>" class="login-forgot-username"><span><?php echo JText::_('MOD_HELLOME_RESEND_ACTIVATION_CODE'); ?></span></a></li>

and for login text, at line 268

<input type="submit" name="Submit" class="btn btn-primary" value="<?php echo JText::_('My New Login Text') ?>" />

Regards
