Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I have uploaded tons of new photos in the albums and the JS Photos module is not updating. It still shows the same 16 photos it has showed from the word go.
I've tried everything - flushed the cache... and no luck.
It's Joomla! caching issue... or rather it works.
You have enabled Joomla caching in Backend -> System -> Global configuration -> System -> Cache Settings
From my experience; there is no use to enable it. Impact of load time is small and it causes a lot of issues. Especially when you debug or develop site... or if you add content very often.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Michal,
The cache is flushed and I am not caching anything. IT's still not updating... I've beat my head up against the wall on this one ... it rotates and randomizes the photos but never ever changes them and there has been a lot of new ones uploaded.
Another user reported it... I assign developer to this thread, lets he take a look and decide if this is a bug.

So is this now officially a bug? Where are we in the process. This is something that drives traffic and with the Kentucky Derby Festival launching tomorrow... I need it.
