JomSocial Expired Socialize Expired

I've attempted this in the past as well but some modules that I attempt to publish for frontpage do not show. Example: I have a K2 module published fro js_side_frontpage position and module class suffix of cModule cFrontPage-LatestEvents app-box. It does not show.

I copied this module class suffix from another module I published which is working.

What could be stopping these modules from publishing?

Hi Jared,

This issue is caused by K2 module itself, I tried to set that K2 module on another position and still the modules is now showing at all.

thank you

I will check with K2 about this one. There is a similar issue though.

If you check the "Latest Business Pages" modules here - www.opensourceliving.org/index.php/about-us

and after logging in here - www.opensourceliving.org/

you will see that the module works on a regular joomla article but does not on the jomsocial frontpage. The developers at XTDir say that it is a javascript issue with the template.

Can you take a look?

Also the developer mentions:

Then, the issue is caused by some of the additional scripts. When so many Javascripts are loaded in a page, errors may be hidden or a specific loaded order may be required. The module works based on this widget: github.com/greenish/jquery-slides It only loads "jquery.slides.min.js".

This is what I see using Firefox console:

Also, idk if this helps but if the module parameters in BE is set to horizontal accordion style it will work in that configuration. Weird.

Hi Dimas,

I'm not worried about the K2 Module. That one isn't working on anything and I will be contacting K2 about it.

What I am worried about is the XTDIR (Latest Business Pages) module. It works on normal joomla template but does not work on Socialize template. This one needs to be looked at further.

Latest Business Pages. Jomsocial Position [js_frontpage_side] using Socialize template.

It works on normal joomla template here - opensourceliving.org/index.php/about-us

Hi Jared,

I see, I think this file jquery.slides.js is not loaded on Jomsocial page, I suggest you ask to K2 developer to checking again where they load this file jquery.slides.js, or they should load that file on a plugin or load it manually from module itself.

thank you

Hi,

This is the response from the developer to your question:

The module has a helper class to load jquery.slides.min.js, file helper.php line 84.

JFactory::getDocument()->addScript(JUri::root() . 'media/mod_xtd_accordionentries/js/jquery.slides.min.js');
