Customize Profile Issue - Does not have a button to save changes made

Hello,

I'm trying to create some changes for the profiles in the site, we need to have a very specific set of questions answered by our
members, however, there is not an option to have the customized profile questions saved , it will allow you to start making the needed changes but not to save them. - there is no "Save" Button or any other option to save the changes.

Can you point to where I can check in order to resolve this issue - Thank you.

Hi Gregory,

This issue is caused by Joomla 3.4, which version Jomsocial version 3.2 is not full tested on Joomla 3.4.

Well, this issue will be fixed on Jomsocial version 4.

here the temporary fix:
open /administrator/components/com_community/controllers/profiles.php at line 905 change the code from

$response->addScriptCall('(function($) { $$(".js-tooltip, .hasTooltip").each(function (e) {e.hide = null;});})(MooTools);');
to
$response->addScriptCall('if (window.MooTools) (function($) { $$(".js-tooltip, .hasTooltip").each(function (e) {e.hide = null;});})(MooTools);');

Thank you, that worked like a charm, however I got another question - Now, when creating the changes if I select the "check boxes" option as an input method, it does not show the options or where to add said options to the profile, yet - the system provides a message that says "The field options should not be empty" but I do not see where to add those options in the form itself" - Thank you for your help !

Hi Gregory,

We havent tested all functions on J3.4, so you will find more bugs there, I can say Jomsocial version 3.2.1.6 is not supported with the latest Joomla version yet. I suggest you downgrade your Joomla or you wait new Jomsocial version 4.

Thank you for all your help with the bugs, they worked perfectly for what we needed. - Now, one last question - I see in my account I am able to download the 4.0 version, is that a Beta Version or is it the full stable release?
