by default it cannot, members page not designed like that. need big customization at jomsocial core, too much efforts.

Also can I add fields that are already being used in User registration forms and add them to the members page Search form?

not sure about the cost, every developer having they per hour cost ( www.jomsocial.com/jomsocial-developers ). you asking to developers how many hours to build this customization.

any field at users registration only search able at advance search. by using admin users at search result for advance search you can click "Save this Search Filter" to create it at menu item.
