Menu - Specific Profiles

Hello, I am new to JomSocial and tried search the webs for an answer with no avail so I am turning to here.

How would I create links within the menu of a site so when a visitor clicks on them they only see certain profiles? For example, if I had members select from a dropdown menu that their a Teacher or Student, I would like links in the menu like "Meet Teachers" and "Meet Students." When the links or clicked I would only want the corresponding profiles to be visible.

Do you mean search the profile by profile type? I am sorry this feature is not available right now.

Not search but a menu link but I guess it would almost be the same thing. The only option I see now is "All Members." I'm looking to make a link they only shows a certain group or category of profiles.

Yes, that is not possible right now.. I hope in version 4 that feature will be available
