The module options to select the fields don't update

This has been broken since the start of Jomsocial 3.x and perhaps even in 2.8x

Will this ever be fixed, if not why not update the module to remove the options or remove the module completely?

The documentation wiki acknowledges this bug yet it still remains untouched - very strange

The fields in the dating module are pre set, you can change the field code but you cannot make the website field for example appear in the city field. If i change the city filed code to FIELD_CITY2 and update the dating module then it will show that field. If i change the field cod to FIELD_WEBSITE then nothing with be found because that field is linked to City.

what wiki link are you referring to that says this is a bug?

If I update the "FIELD_GENDER" to "FIELD_SEX" the values don't reflect my custom field.

I introduced "FIELD_SEX" to have a third gender option but the frontend of the module doesn't update as it calls the data from an XML file I believe, instead of the actual database for the values.

Any plans to update this module to make it work as you would think it should? Not being able to hide "FIELD_STATE" for example impacts users from a lot of countries.

I am comfortable hacking this module, but it would be good for it to be updated and improved
