js-icons missing in backend navigation-pane and content-pane

JomSocial Expired

Hi!
I´ve installed joomla 3.3.6 many times on my site with jomsocial(I´m just learning).
I´ve never experianced js-icons missing in the backend(see attachment jomsocial-support.png).
I´ve noticed the icons refresh actively when I change the compiling-status of my t3-framework-t3-blank-template-styles I´m using, but I´ve come to the point that it must not have to do with the JS-compile-css to less, js or rtl, don´t you agree?
I´m using the t3-system-2.4.1 T3-Framework, the newest one from JoomlArt.
I wonder what has changed now, in this my new Joomla-fresh-install?
I´ve noticed that the JoomlArt-quickstart-packet fails to arrange some db-tables, every time, so I tend to use the joomla.org Full_Stable-version and then components/extension manager/install the t3-system-2.4.1-packet and t3-extensionmanager-packet.
When I look in to public_html/administrator/components/com_community/assets/css/font-awesome.min.css, I can se I´m using font-awesome-version 3.2.1, but in public_html/templates/t3_blank/fonts/font-awesome/css/font-awesome.min.css i´m using fa-4.1.0. I´m not so sure if I´ve added the Font-Awesome and Bootstrap 3, the right way?
I´m constantly fooling around in my Joomla and extension installation so I might have changed it when you read this post so in that cace, just contact me by email.

Hi, Benedikt.

It seems that fonts ware blocked:

Font from origin ' www.ethnicland.net ' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin ' ethnicland.net ' is therefore not allowed access.

This was displayed in Chrome error console.

Maybe you have some restrictions in htaccess:
webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/7...-policy-no-access-co

Or maybe it's your hosting?

Hi Michal!
Thank you for an extreamly quick answer.
I admit, I hope you are willing to do me a favor, - to look in to my .htaccess-file and check the line: "RewriteRule ^administrator/ - [F] "?
It´s number is 91.
And there to fix what is wrong in the file, if more, then I´d apreciate, if you would change it and what ever you think is better.
I don´t have a clue how to manage the code in that file. That is one of the many things left to learn regarding Joomla and its extensions.

If I rename the .htaccess file, I get the icons back.
If I comment out "RewriteRule ^administrator/ - [F] ", I loose admin-right to site contents.
If I do not change this line, I loose my icons.
I added
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header add Access-Control-Allow-Origin " ethnicland.net "
</IfModule>
to the .htaccess file without success.
Can you be so helpful to give me some more tips.

Hi again!
In addition, I created /public_html/rewrite-test folder and copied my htaccess file to there and went there within my browser.
that gave me:
"Forbidden - You don't have permission to access /rewrite-test/ on this server. - Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

What should I ask my host about?

Hi, Benedikt.

"RewriteRule ^administrator/ - [F] " is not a standard rule in Joomla! htaccess so you should avoid to use it.

I don't understand why you loose admin right to the site content without it. It means that or you misconfigured Joomla! or rather your server has misconfigured chmod or chown.

Joomla! should work perfectly without that rule.

As this is part of Joomla! and not JomSocial related issue - you should rather ask for advise on Joomla! forum; forum.joomla.org
