Logging users out when they accept friend requests

Hi guys,

Some of my members are finding that, when they accept friend requests, they are being logged out of the site automatically.

Hi, Adam.

Please, create account in your community (or use that one from provided credentials) and send friend request to it.
Then update this thread - I'll take a look.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal,

You still have an account there linked to a facebook account, i can send a Friend request to that, however it only happens when the user is actually online at the time they receive the request.
Let me know if you want to use your account and are logged in and i'll send you a friend request. I'm online at the moment

-EDIT- It actually logs the person out as they are receiving the Friend Request; before they accept it.

I just accepted friend request and I'm still logged in...

I'm not sure what to say. I just tried it with another account on another computer and it logged that account out, but it seems to happen when I clicked on the News Feed menu item after getting the friend request sent. Does that help any?

No, after clicking "News feed" I was still logged in.
Maybe your session just expired? Or cookies are not accepted in browser?

Hi Michal

I think i have figured out where its going wrong. Its when they click on the logo on the Jomsocial community toolbar, its logging them out. I had a non-SSL URL entered there, so the cookie wasn't correct. My mistake, sorry for the trouble
