The page components/com_community/libraries/toolbar.php has this code:

// @rule: Do not display toolbar for non logged in users.
if (empty($my->id))

but the condition is incorrect, the correct code is this:

// @rule: Do not display toolbar for non logged in users.
if (!empty($my->id))

that logic already correct, as you can see there is no toolbar menu for non logged in user

Hi Paulo,

I saw your groups page are private. non guests user can access it?
that code for jomsocial toolbar menu, by default socialize not using it.

here my screenshot at photo preview. one as registered user, and one as guest
