I suggest you asking server support about that. it can be MySQL bug, i need upgrade the MySQL

Mysql is in the newest version and this just started to happen when I updated Jomsocial.
Are you sure is not related to anything else?

table crash not related with any jomsocial code, jomsocial code only did: insert, update, read, delete. and the function from php it self.
if MySQL stop suddenly can make that issue. the fix need to be done at server side, maybe you need to increase server resources or MySQL not properly setup/configure.

Hi,
but this is the only table crashing of the whole server, no matter if it's almost empty, the server is not overloaded.
The mysql server has a lot of resources (ssd, 16gb ram) and the biggest database is this one and it's not really big (6gb of data)
Are you sure is not related to Jomsocial the crash?

it can be that table over loaded by 3rd party extensions. Jomsocial running under Joomla, for database interactions jomsocial always using joomla database functions.

please try this solution:
1. open phpmyadmin
2. backup j25_community_msg table
3. goto j25_community_msg > operations > changing Storage Engine value to InnoDB

I hope with this why, that table will not always crashing any more.
