Hi
Please have a look at the following image:

Does the JomSocial plugin API provide any way to add a link to either the top (red underline) or bottom (red arrow) links? If not, is there a way to add a link anywhere on user profiles without taking up space like a standard community plugin?

Thanks in advanced!

Hi, Mike.

You'll need to edit this file :

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/modules/profile/userinfo.php

First area is within ul in line 77, second one is within ul in line 148. So just add another <li>some content</li> to the list.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi
Ahh so the only way is a JomSocial core hack then. There is no other way to use a community plugin to display that link?

Hi, Mike.

Not in this position... jQuery could do the job without hacking template... but it's not my field of expertise ;)
