Module for form who uses mysql database

Hello ,

For my jomsocial website,
I would like to know if there is a module to create a form to insert data into a database and to get those datas display in another page after admin's approval or automatically.

The page where all the ads will be display has to be the first page a user will see when he login into his account.
When a user reply to an add, it goes into the jomsocial user's mail box.

Is there a module who can do that ?

Hi, Alex.

You should rather ask on Joomla! forum as you request an extension for Joomla! not JomSocial.
You could try RS!Form: www.rsjoomla.com/joomla-extensions/rsform.html

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

You tell me that i am looking an extension for joomla.
But i plan to use only jomsocial.
Can i implement those forms in jomsocial ?

Hi, Alex.

I'm not sure what you mean by "implement those forms in jomsocial" but both RS!Forms and JomSocial are extensions in Joomla! so they can work along. Of course there is not DIRECT integration but data gathered in RS!Form can be displayed on JomSocial pages in modules.

In fact , i want to replace the "say what is on your mind" form by one of mine.
And have the comments of all users appear on the same page.

I have added some screenshots if what i want to do is unclear.

Whoa, so you want a huge customization then... you can't achieve this without core files hack and help of professional developer.

Be aware that core hacks are not recommended nor supported as they may not working with future JomSocial releases and/or cause issues that will be not supported. Users with core files hack refuse to upgrade their installation to keep those hacks and they are stuck with outdated and unsupported versions.
