When I first set up Socialize I was able to change the module variations but now that function has stopped working - I cannot stylize the mods with sbox1, sbox2, etc - I tried with space before and even all caps but not working. I know the custom positions in jomsocial do not use variations but Top, position-3 or Sidebars 1 and 2 are NOT taking the variations either. I just want it to look like your demo page.

OTHER ISSUE IMPORTANT:

About the same time as the "Module Variations" problem I also cannot assign templates to menu items:
In the Template Manger > Styles > jm_creatrix-CE :: I try to assign this template to only the shopping cart pages (HikaCart) but it will not assign the template and I have tried all that I know to make this work.

Could all this have something to do with LESS > CSS ?
I did not copy the 2 template files (Socialize and JM Creatrix CE) files into the other folder like it said to do so. Could this be the issue?

There may be a compatibility issue of some sort but I do not know how to troubleshoot it. I tried shutting down other components other then the ones I need. CometChat has been writing some custom code for us so I have been communicating with them about these issues.
Do you know of any issues related to cometchat being incompatible with JomSocial?

I may need to hired someone to help with this troubleshooting issue please let me know if you can help or suggest someone to help us get this site up and running - I may need your help fixing this. It's very important that we launch this site in the next week. Please help us out.

It seems that 3rd party extension overrides module html structure so they lost ability to use class suffix. I remember that once certain user has similar issue: www.jomsocial.com/forum/socialize-templa...-does-not-work#75800

I think that it could be Hika (shop or market) but I'm not sure 100%... so you may test it by disabling all extensions related to it.

As for template issue - I'm sorry but I can't help you with this. You should rather ask template developer or Hika extensions developer
You see, this can support only JomSocial and Socialzie template issues. Any other issues should be reported to respective developers.

I completely removed HikaShop, Joomlaman template, I disabled CometChat, and all other components and plug-ins except for Socialize Template and JomSocial associated elements. Now I have run out of trouble shooting and have narrowed it down to just JomSocial and Socialize. Also I have run out of time with my client who is paying for this website.

I've been working on this project for over 4 months and I've got nothing here to show - and all for the simplest things - module variations should be the least of my worries - template assigning should be the least of my worries.

How about we do this - Tell me how much it will COST to have your team uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Socialize and JomSocial Pro (if Needed) and make it work correctly and simply look like this attached picture. This will save me a tremendous amont of time and hopefully I can take it from there. This is what I paid for but ever since I got this I have not been able to make it look as you display it the demo. I need this done ASAP - my client is ready to give up with me so PLEASE help me make this right or give me some answers that will help me make it right. I don't understand why Jomsocial's Socialize Template does not come fully displayed with all the demo ingredients so I can just go in and customize it to my needs. This would save so much time and effort. Every joomla 3rd party template loads with demo materials and setups. That's the beauty of Joomla and it's 3rd party providers. You have provided me with a template with the bare essentials and barely any instructions or videos to help build it. There are so many plugins but no instructions on how to implement them. It's like an ongoing guessing game. I appreciate your time and your help so please help me move forward with your reply. Every Monday turns into another week of no website. Today I will back up the site and try to uninstall first Socialize and then JomSocial if needed. I need to do something to try to fix this.

I understand your hard situation, so I'll do my best to help you.
And no - you don't have to pay anything. You already have active subscription.

I created full copy of your site using Akeeba as I had to do some mess - disable things and reinstall Socialize.

Yet I fount troublemaker :D It was System - Helix Framework plugin... probably a remain from previous template.

Now, just restore your whole installation using Akeeba backup I've made today and disable this plugin.
Now you can see your site a bit messy - your customizations are gone but when System - Helix Framework plugin css suffixes are working... enable it and they are gone.

This plugin changes module structure...
