Hello,
We have the My Articles application configured to display below the activity stream on individual profiles. In the header there is a 'thumbs down' icon displaying for the icon to toggle the display of the articles on and off. The code being used to call the icon is (<i class="com-app-chevron"></i>) and the css for that class loads /images/sprites-icons.png and moves the background position to center center. I don't even see a chevron icon in that sprite file. So what is supposed to be displayed there? Clearly the thumbs down icon is wrong.
Yes, it was a css conflict. For several versions we have had our own custom jomsocial template. We have had a css style which set the sprites to a custom version that we edit based on the standard png file from jomsocial. It seems that in a recent version you separated out the app based sprites from the main sprite file. So that's why our site continued to load the large sprite file which did not contain the chevron symbol.
