I just noticed that when a user submits an article on my joomla the article does show up on profile in the "community - my articles" module but there is no entry made to activity stream.

I thought this was working before or am I mistaken. Aren't new articles supposed to show in the users activity stream?


Also the profile links in articles point to something like this /index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userprofile&user=995&lang=en

with error message" This user has not yet confirmed his email address and account!
This user has not yet been approved by a moderator!"

instead of jomsocial profile.

I checked all plugins but cant see what I'm missing. Please help.

after further investigation a see that the article activity stream plugins have been discontinued by jomsocial.

Still: why are profile links in articles linking to _comprofiler instead of jomsocial profile?

It's because you have Community Builder: /index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userprofile&user=995&lang=en
Check for it settings or additional plugins. Disable or delete that extension.
JomSocial has no integration with com_content (articles) so no links to JomSocial profile will be displayed though.
