i saw that there was (maybe in an older version of jomsocial) the notification bar like this (i'm using images that i found on an another thread opened on this module)

this because from template it self, you can find default code at /components/com_community/templates/default/toolbar.index.php
seem your template having override for that, please have a look at: /templates/ja_fixel/html/com_community/toolbar.index.php.

you need to changing it. if you dont know how to do it. please provide me FTP access detail by editing your first post at this topic, and put it at site info form.

i've added to the first message of this topic the ftp parameters, take a look if you can, actually i modified the css file of the module mod_notify, but i think that was better to make an ovveride

I made the override for /modules/mod_notify/tmpl/default.php at /templates/ja_fixel/html/mod_notify/default.php
you can compare it to know what changes I made.

the only problem that i still have is that the notification bar is now vertical - aligned, before was horizontal.
can you suggest me the reason?

that because the template design that position for social media. here the custom CSS I made:
/templates/ja_fixel/css/custom.css

.cMod-Notify a {
  width: 30px;
}

.social-link {
  width: 150px;
}

.social-link:hover, .social-link:focus, .social-link:active {
    overflow: hidden;
}
