Hi, Luis.

Copy this file: ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/email.friends.invite.html.php

to:

ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community (if you don't have "html" or "com_community" folders, feel free to create them)

And add predefined text right over this code: <?php echo $message; ?>

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Luis.

Sure.

Just copy that file to folder I described above.
After that edit this file and just right above <?php echo $message; ?> paste this:

<?php echo JText::_('MY_PREDEFINED_INVITE_TEXT');?>

So it looks like this:

<?php echo JText::_('MY_PREDEFINED_INVITE_TEXT');?>
<?php echo $message; ?>

Now browse to Backend -> Extensions -> Language manager -> Overrides

Click "add new" and in field constants type: MY_PREDEFINED_INVITE_TEXT
In field text type whatever you want to display.

This doc should help you: www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/joom...ew-language-override
