Joomla v3.3.1, JS v3.2.1, Socialize v1.2.7.
We use to set a splash screen before getting the home page. Normally we set modal stuff in the Joomla featured article.
But how can we do it as the frontpage is linked to the JomSocial toolbar, not to a Joomla article.
Could you help us on this ?

You mean that you want to have a splash screen but start page is JomSocial frontpage.

Well, try to use JCE Editor and it modal window feature. Try to create a html module, assign it to start page, create link with JCE editor using modal window feature, hide link.

Please note that your request has nothing to do with JomSocial but rather apply to Joomla administration. We shouldn't support request like that so next time, please post on Joomla! forum.
