two questions

JomSocial Expired

Hello,
I am really happy with my jomsocial purchase thus far. I love it, and while I'm not seeing the huge amount of users I'd hoped for, I'm sure that they will come. I just have two questions.
1. How can I add an item to the activity stream each time an article gets published? For example, I also have a news section on my site. Using feedgator, I pull in articles from a few different rss feeds, and they get published with very little work on my part. But, what I would also like to see happen is that for each article, or every few articles so as not to inundate the system with tons of news stories, have an item posted in the activity feed. Since my site is in Spanish, it would look something like, "(user) publicó un article…" and it would have the link and article image. I know that there are a few extensions out there, but most seemed to be outdated, and from what little info I could find, probably wouldn't work with jomsocial 3.2.1.
2. I have an iPhone and android app through Conduit mobile, which is a do it yourself tipe platform. Eventually I hope to switch to iJoomer or another platform that is better integrated with jomsocial. But for the mean time, I need to give my users access to jomsocial on the app. Here's the situation. Conduit offers the ability to embed web pages in to the app. That's the easy part. My problem is that I don't want other elements of the site, such as non jomsocial menus and modules to come through as well. When the site is loaded on the desktop, or even on a mobile device not using the app, I want the site to display as normal. However, inside the app, I don't want joomla's main menu to show up, as the app already has its own navigation tabs. Also, since my app is for an online radio station, I already have a listen page there, but, if I were to load the site normally just embedded in the site, it would generate double playback of the audio, as I have it set to show the radio module on all pages. As I said, on the desktop, and even on mobile devices not using the app, I want it to stay like that. But in the app, I want it to display pure jomsocial and nothing else. I know that I can do this with articles and such by adding the templ=component to the end of the url. That's how I got some articles to display in the app. However, I couldn't figure out if there is some way to do the same with jomsocial.
Thanks for the help.
One last note. My site is in Spanish. The admin area is accessible in English, but I would ask that you not change the fronted language as it could have a negative effect on my users. Last time I asked for support, one of your agents changed the site language, and then didn't change it back. This is a problem. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi, Justin.

1. There was a plugin for this: www.jomsocial.com/addons/content-enhancements/article-activity but it doesn't work with current version of JomSocial. So you'll need a developer to update it: www.jomsocial.com/jomsocial-developers

2. We don't support integration with 3rd party applications so I can't help you with that... but we have and app for JomSocial in iTunes store so maybe it will interest you: itunes.apple.com/us/app/jomsocial/id883660444?ls=1&mt=8

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
