Hi,

when a user invite a friend from out side the community, can he get points for is effort, and points if the person that he invited has joined?
is there a rule for that importnat thing?

No, you need to implement an additional rules... and have additional software.
Many JomSocial admins use Invitex for this purpose:

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

isnt it better to use JBF connect, they have there a "Facebook Invitations" .
is it difficult to make rule?

is it just for programers?

Yes, it's rather for programmers.
But you could have a look on documentation: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/User_Points_System
I'm not sure if JFBC has a feature like that...
You could ask them directly. I recommended extension that I see often on customers site and I know that it has such a feature ;)
