Hi Robert,
As I am seeing you are using very old version.
Can you upgrade to our latest version 3.2.0.7.
Let me know if still the problem exist after upgrade taken place.
Thanks
So I created a new testsite, downloaded the backup file using Filezilla in binary mode, I then extracted the jpa file with akeeba extract wizard. I created the new directory test site and dropped the extracted files in there backup folder: site-www.baymetaphysics.com-20140706-133414
Uploading it to the live server using filezilla in binary mode. Then used the installation script.

- I created a new database and then filled out the script, everything was good, removed installation files, went to home page... blah!
[]Edited] oops, I went into my configuration and it had the old database name, after I corrected it, woolah, the site is now backed up!.
I can now attempt to update the testsite with upgrade of jomsocial.
Home page
So the events page is still missing everything which I stated in the topic post.

Hi Robert,
Though the inline style applied by unexpected js and it seems caused from other js but
I have fixed the issue by overriding the css as below
#community-events-wrap .cIndex-Avatar{
display:block!important;
}
#com-events-categories .app-box-content .app-box-list li a{
display:block!important;
}
Thank you Ashraf,
I noticed that when the category had something in it, the display showed it below the category name, so I changed display:inline from block and now the count is next to the category.
How can I show the title of the Event above the date of the event. and what is that person icon about?
Thanks again.
Sorry if I overwrote something you did :(
I saw the headers were there and linked and the people icon had attendees.. but because I worked on the testsite, I saw these disapear.
I am only working now on live site until I hear back from you, feel free to work in testsite environment.
Robert
Hi Robert,
Here is an another css fix for the event title
#community-events-wrap .event-public .cIndex-Content .cIndex-Name a {
display:block!important;
}
Thank you, how about the guests attending? And should I start a new thread about the post box?
COM_COMMUNITY_POSTBOX_STATUS
COM_COMMUNITY_POSTBOX_PHOTO
COM_COMMUNITY_POSTBOX_EVENT
These php names are not rendering to their proper message, in the post box.
Hi Robert,
It it is not related with current topic then, yeah exactly.
FYI, we always love to track each problem with separate thread and thus how we track down each problem.
Thanks
