Joomla : v3.3.0
JomSocial:v3.2.0.5
Socialize:v1.2.7
in order to customize the "Get Connected" area of the JomSocial template and the template style sheet, we've followed doc at: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Customizing_Template
Unfortunately the overriding is not take in account. Can't find out why. We've already used template overrides for others stuff without any problem.
Help will be welcome.

Do you want changing the "Get Connected" image? if so. you must edit the line 15 at this location /templates/socialize/html/com_community/frontpage.guests.php:

from
<img class="hero-area-bg" src="<?php echo JURI::root(); ?>components/com_community/templates/default/images/guest-bg.jpg" width="890" height="366" ></img>

to
<img class="hero-area-bg" src="<?php echo JURI::root(); ?>templates/socialize/html/com_community/images/guest-bg.jpg" width="890" height="366" ></img>

We have a similar issue for the overriding of the style.css file, we've also followed the doc
and the
@import url("../../../../../components/com_community/templates/default/css/style.css");
/* Add overrides bellow */
#community-wrap .js-focus-menu a {
color: #ff95ff;
}
seems not applied.

For CSS you can use the template it self. it same with override.
please put the code at /templates/socialize/css/custom.css

just done it without any effect.

}
Still not applied, taken from template.css not from custom.css
Any clue ?
