Hi,

I have just created a new module using the type of Menu and selected the menu JomSocial Toolbar. I have not edited anything else, I have only used the default settings.
The new menu displays as in the screen shot attached. The issue is it's not inline and is just a long list.
How would we go about changing this so it looks normal?

Hi Max,

you still need CSS work for styling your new menu. Jomsocial menu same like other joomla menu because jomsocial running under joomla.

if you want make jomsocial menu at every page. you can use 3rd party module:

www.jomsocial.com/addons/modules/qbar-jomsocial-toolbar-module

I have discovered it is not inline because it won't display in the default JomSocial Toolbar. Do you know how I can do this?
It should work with no dramas but it's just not displaying in the bar.

please check it again. I added new custom css at your template manager. your template css conflict with jomsocial toolbar.
