Activity stream module has changed after upgrade

hi there,

I have upgraded to JS 3.2.0.5. (both component and modules)

After the users login they notice that the AS activity stream has changed. Now they see a irresponsive cog wheel on the top, hide button below and date below. it is all messed up.

How can I make it look like the AS on JS 3.1.0.4.?


I am attaching a screenshot. Can you please advise?

Hi there.

At this moment I got 404 error page on your /administrator url, so it seems you've some kind of redirection on back-end, could you provide us with some valid url to access your back-end? Please add it to your first post here, to the site info box.

This is an application question, so you do not need my site backend (It is a prod site).

I added the site and user\pwd in the misc part of my original post.

Dear Chris,

What I am asking is not a site related issue but an application question.

Since the site i am talking about is in production, I can not let someone use it as their playground.

Please have a look at the screenshot attached to the initiall post and then either install the last version and try to repeat it at your end or escelate it to someone else in your team that has seen this issue before.

I am looking for a swift reply.

Please notice that we don't use customers sites as a "playgrounds". We asking for access to site as issues could look alike but cause could be different. There could be dozens of reasons why your page look like this.
Please, consider to grant us access as none from support staff will be able to provide you a solution based on a printscreen only.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

I can`t really understand why you think removing the cog wheel is site specific however, I add the admin details in the intiall post. please have a look. tnx

Before we proceed. I noticed that you provided us with TWO domains:

funet.co.il
dwh.co.il

Your supported domain is: funet.co.il
But your issue apply to: dwh.co.il

Please notice that holding PRO license only one domain is supported.

Supported domain could be changed but you need to have valid reason e.g domain name typo...

hi,

The only domain associated with this account is dwh.co.il.

funet.co.il is the service provides is which dwh.co.il was added to one of it`s account folders.

if i write dwh.co.il as the only domain, then your support system will not let me add the funet account admin details. on the other hand if i write funet.co.il as the only domain it would be wrong (unless you want to give license to all funet`s customers).

I hope this answer statisfy you and you can proceed to replying to my question.

To continue we need the following
1. The administration URL for the site you want us to support, This will then be changed in your account by us
We DO NOT need the front end URL as we use the link provided in Joomla administration panel to visit the site.
2. the URL of the sites front end will be determined by the link joomla supplies in administration (See attached image)



While this may be frustrating, from our point of view it is not clear what is your supported domain,
